they are dangerous is the second song released by senator gary. the riddim was build by the late great keyboard player winston wright (1944-1993) and the vocal was recorded at creative sound studio. the tune was produced by neville reid who died a few years ago. senator gary is also called imara, abbasani and now he is voicing under the name of i-maa-raa. so the quest to find him was not so easy, thanks to marshall neeko for the help.

canadian paolo rocco kickstarts the new year with his &#8203,,,judgement ep on hot creations. the first release of 2017 is an international affair, with manchester born trevino and one of the most spoken names of last year, greece native detlef on remix duties. initially making a name for himself through his djing skills back home in montreal, paolo s productions entered the market in 2012 with instant international support. his releases on real tone, one records, saved and others were all met with high acclaims as were the compilations he mixed for defected and get physical. the creation of, ‘judgement’ and ‘that’s it’ prove paolo truly understands what works on the dance floor. 2016 saw detlef reach new heights whilst also debuting on hot creations with his ‘kinky tail’ ep. he returns to the label with a devastating edit of ‘judgement’ and his rolling signature sound. trevino aka marcus intalex &#8203,,,ramps up the ep with his remix, centred around shimmering high hats and a freaky groove. a champion of how a dj can achieve success in two different genres, trevino has released on several of the most praised drum & bass and techno labels for a number of years.

after a very successful label launch last year with in aeternam vale - “self destruct” ep, linda records returns with another straight talking, analog fuelled 10”. this time welcoming aboard berlin based russian artist alexey volkov. his three track ep “cold blooded genius” comes finely presented on transparent red ten inch vinyl (limited pressing). whilst staying true to its current white label feel, this time linda s trademark eyes, also a fitting red. on the a side at 45rpm the title track “cold blooded genius” and on the b side two tracks will spin at 33rpm, “unfriendly nation” & “curtains of flesh”. we hate to categorise and attempt to summarise what these pieces of music craft sound like into words, we’ll leave you to indulge for a short time to the machine noise of the highly regarded talent that is alexey volkov.
